Released in July, the project continues the artist’s commitment to using music as a platform for honest storytelling. From his early releases to his latest work, Blaxk Savage has continued to build his identity around music that reflects real-life experiences and emotions.

MIRROR represents a more introspective chapter in that journey. The title reflects the idea of looking inward and confronting different versions of oneself, including the struggles, mistakes, sacrifices, ambitions and dreams that shape a person’s identity.

The EP begins with INTERLUDE, which sets the tone for the reflective journey that follows. It leads into MAN IN THE MIRROR, a track centred on self-examination, personal development and the process of understanding who he has become.

The project then moves into RACK$, where Blaxk Savage explores ambition, survival and the pressure that comes with pursuing a better life. The EP continues with TILL I DIE (OWA), featuring Maxino, before concluding with LOST.

Across the five tracks, MIRROR presents different sides of the artist while maintaining a consistent narrative about his journey. The project moves beyond simply documenting hardship, instead exploring the lessons, victories, setbacks and mindset that come with personal growth.

Blaxk Savage’s musical identity is also shaped by his ability to draw from multiple genres. His hip-hop influences provide an edge to his sound, while trap elements bring energy to his records. At the same time, Afro-fusion and Nigerian musical influences keep his work connected to his roots.

Rather than limiting himself to a single genre, the artist allows his experiences and creative instincts to determine the direction of his music. This approach can be heard across records such as RACK$, Lost Boy, Lone Believer and MIRROR, which, despite their different sounds and themes, share a common foundation of authenticity.

His recent releases have also continued to attract attention beyond his immediate audience. RACK$ gained attention on Audiomack charts, while MIRROR is introducing his music to more listeners and adding to a growing catalogue that documents his evolution as an artist.

For Blaxk Savage, the journey is about more than releasing individual songs. His broader ambition is to create a body of work that listeners can connect with and see themselves in.

As he looks to the future, the artist plans to continue expanding his sound, reaching new audiences and creating music inspired by both his personal experiences and the stories of people who connect with his message.

With MIRROR, Blaxk Savage turns reflection into art, transforming past struggles into lessons, lessons into music, and music into a continuing story of growth.
