Actor’s Lab Secures Fortis Global Insurance Support for Nigeria’s Creative Talent


Fortis Global Insurance PLC has approved sponsorship for participants at Actor's Lab, a three-day intensive acting class led by actor and theatre practitioner Lanre Adediwura, in a move that connects the insurance sector with Nigeria's fast-growing creative economy.


The programme will hold from 23 to 25 October 2026. It is being delivered in partnership with Euphoria360 Academy, an initiative under Euphoria360 Hub, associated with filmmaker and actor Femi Adebayo.


The sponsorship will give aspiring and developing actors access to practical, structured training and insight into the professional demands of the screen industry. The initiative is anchored on the message "Protecting the People Who Create Nigeria's Stories."

Adediwura said the backing would widen access to professional-level training. "Talent alone is not enough. Actors need discipline, technique and an understanding of how the industry works. With the support of Fortis Global Insurance PLC and our partnership with Euphoria360 Academy, we can give participants an experience that prepares them for real careers."


The partnership was facilitated by Adenike Odubawo, Adediwura's talent manager, film producer and creative entrepreneur. "When corporate Nigeria and the creative industry work together, everyone gains," Odubawo said. "This partnership shows that investing in creative talent makes both cultural and business sense."
